Disclaimer

Last updated 12 June 2026. What NiveshLens is, what it is not, and the limits of everything you read on this service.

This Disclaimer applies to the NiveshLens website, mobile site and all associated products, tools and content (together, the “Service”) operated by NiveshLens (“NiveshLens”, “we”, “us”). By accessing or using the Service you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted this Disclaimer together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Risk Disclosure.

1. General — information and education only

Everything published on the Service — including FundScore ratings, labels, NAV history, charts, calculators, portfolio diagnostics, overlap and cost analysis, screeners, articles and answers from our AI research assistant — is provided for general information and educational purposes only. None of it constitutes, and none of it should be construed as, investment, financial, trading, legal, accounting or tax advice, or a personal recommendation.

Nothing on the Service is tailored to your individual financial situation, objectives, risk appetite or needs. Your use of the Service does not create any fiduciary, advisory, broker-client or other professional relationship between you and NiveshLens. We do not act on your behalf and we do not supervise, manage or have any discretion over your money or investments.

2. Not SEBI-registered; not a distributor

NiveshLens is not registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) as an Investment Adviser under the SEBI (Investment Advisers) Regulations, 2013, nor as a Research Analyst under the SEBI (Research Analysts) Regulations, 2014. NiveshLens holds no AMFI Registration Number (ARN) and is not a mutual fund distributor, broker, sub-broker or agent of any kind.

We do not execute transactions, do not handle or hold client money or securities, do not route buy or sell orders, and do not earn any distribution commission, brokerage, trail fee or revenue share from any asset management company (AMC) or scheme. Nothing on the Service is a solicitation, offer or recommendation to buy, sell, hold, subscribe to or redeem any security, mutual fund scheme or financial product.

3. FundScore and labels are analytics, not recommendations

The FundScore and the Strong / Steady / Slipping / Weak labels are quantitative, backward-looking analytical outputs. They are computed by an automated model from publicly available data — historical NAVs, benchmark indices, scheme disclosures and similar inputs — using a defined methodology, and they rank a scheme relative to its peers as of a point in time.

These scores and labels are not investment advice or personal recommendations, not ratings of the creditworthiness or financial strength of any scheme, AMC or issuer, and not a forecast, promise or assurance of future performance. A scheme labelled “Strong” today may underperform in future; a scheme labelled “Weak” may outperform. The model cannot anticipate fund-manager changes, mandate changes, regulatory events, exceptional market conditions or operational risks.

4. No guarantee of accuracy

Data on the Service is sourced from public and third-party feeds, including AMFI NAV data, benchmark and index providers, exchange feeds and scheme disclosures published by AMCs. Such data may contain errors, omissions, inaccuracies, gaps or delays, and may change without notice. Upstream feeds can experience outages or format changes that delay or distort what we display.

The Service and all content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Always verify any figure against the official scheme documents and the relevant AMC or AMFI before acting on it. NiveshLens is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the data or content.

5. Past performance

Past performance is not indicative of future results. All historical returns, rankings, percentiles, FundScore values, backtested or simulated figures, and calculator projections shown on the Service are derived from past data and hypothetical assumptions. Historical and backtested results have inherent limitations and do not represent actual trading or guaranteed outcomes. The assumptions underlying any illustration — such as return rates, contribution patterns, expense ratios and holding periods — may not hold in reality, and actual results may differ materially.

6. AI research assistant

The AI research assistant generates answers using an automated language model. Its responses may be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate or entirely incorrect (the model can “hallucinate” facts, figures or scheme details), and they are provided for information only. AI answers are not investment advice and must not be relied upon for any financial, legal or tax decision. Always verify against official, authoritative sources before acting.

7. Calculators and projections

SIP, lumpsum, goal, retirement, tax and other calculators on the Service produce estimates for illustration only. They are based on the inputs and assumptions you or we supply and do not predict, promise or guarantee any actual return or outcome. Real-world results depend on market performance, costs, taxes and timing, and will differ from any projection.

8. Third-party content, links and trademarks

The Service may reference or link to third-party websites, data providers and resources. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, products or practices of any third party, and a link does not imply endorsement. Your dealings with any third party are solely between you and that party.

All AMC names, mutual fund scheme names, brand names, index names, logos and trademarks are the property of their respective owners. Any use of such names on the Service is purely descriptive and nominative — to identify the schemes and data we analyse — and does not imply any affiliation, sponsorship, partnership or endorsement by, or of, those owners.

9. Your responsibility

You are solely responsible for evaluating the merits and risks of any investment decision and for any decision you make. Before investing, you should make your own independent assessment, consult a SEBI-registered investment adviser and a qualified tax professional regarding your specific circumstances, and read all scheme-related documents — the Scheme Information Document (SID), Statement of Additional Information (SAI) and Key Information Memorandum (KIM) — published by the relevant AMC.

10. Market risk

MUTUAL FUND INVESTMENTS ARE SUBJECT TO MARKET RISKS. READ ALL SCHEME-RELATED DOCUMENTS CAREFULLY. PAST PERFORMANCE IS NOT INDICATIVE OF FUTURE RESULTS.
